There are many ways to make money with your site, but to make any money at all, the first thing you need is visitors. To get visitors you need advertising. Once you have your visitors, you may wish to think about starting a shop with merchandise. Another great way to make money with your site is to sell atvertising space on it. An especially easy way to do this is to use google's adsense.
